My Question or Issue
I’m experiencing the same issue described in the previous topic marked as solved: upon logging in, every playlist is empty, and I can’t play a single song, even though everything works fine in the browser. I’ve tried the proposed fixes (logging out and back in, reinstalling the app, clearing the cache and app data), but none of these steps resolve the problem for me or several other users who have reported the same All playlists are empty .
NO VPN
NOT TRAVELING ABROAD
MORE DEVICES WITH THE SAME ERROR
REGION IS THE SAME FOR 8 YEARS
NO BAN E-MAIL / NOTIFICATION
APP INSTALLED FROM THE OFFICIAL GOOGLE STORE
NO 3rd APP CONNECTED
New account works fine, only "old one" not working since version 9.0.48.xxx official and also beta, current version 9.0.54.509 problem persists.
UPDATE (20/6/2025) version 9.0.54.518
The original account works, but the new account stopped working.

Hello @Rohanr0!
Thanks for reaching out. I'll try to help.
Can you try having a clean reinstall of the Spotify app? I'd also recommend you make sure to download Spotify from the official source for your device (App Store, Google Play...).
Let me know how it goes!
Didn't work I also did saving the country again in spotify.com but still the same

My Question or Issue:
My Playlist and Liked songs have recently disappeared. Ever since the last update everything got deleted, im confused what's going on. I've tried reinstalling and clearing the cache but nothing seems to work.
Same Thing Happening with Me Also Since 2-3 Days
Same problem. On Android everything is empty. On PC/Web the same account has some playlists not accessible (This is Muse, Daft Punk...). With another account, no problem on pc and Android.

My Question or Issue
When I log into my main account I can't see any songs and they can't be played. I have another account and that account works perfectly, however I would like to make my main account work again. Something interesting is that in my pc the account works but in my mobile phone it doesn't. Maybe is something related to my device?
Hey, how are you? Welcome to the Spotify Community.
This type of issue, where playlists appear empty only on mobile, is usually related to a difference between the country set on your account and the country you are currently in, especially if you use the free version of Spotify. For this reason, I recommend updating your country information by following the instructions in this article.
If you are a Premium subscriber, I also suggest doing a full reinstall of the app, as described in this other article. This reinstall is more thorough than just removing and installing the app normally, and can help remove cache files that are causing the issue.
Keep me updated!
Cheers,
ribezaz
Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue from Italy. I'm a Spotify Free user, and my playlists appear empty on the mobile app — while everything works fine on the web version and the Windows app. I can't listen to any playlists, either mine or Spotify's. My location is set to Italy (I've never changed it), and I'm using a Motorola G84 5G. I’ve tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app from the Play Store, and checking my profile info on the web, but nothing has worked — the playlists are still empty!
My country is Italy and I have never changed it, nor can it be changed from the account settings.

My Question or Issue
I'm experiencing issues with the Spotify Android app from Italy. All playlists — both the ones I created and the official Spotify playlists — appear completely empty. I’ve never changed the location settings on my profile; it has always been set to Italy. When I try to update this information, the only selectable country is still Italy. I'm not using a VPN. I’ve already cleared the cache, but that didn’t help. I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled the app at least six times, but the issue persists.
Hey @Aliuwu, thanks for reaching out to the Community!
Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps. These steps are more thorough than the simple reinstall and can solve common issues.
If you're still having trouble, can you let me know the make and model of the device you're experiencing this on?
Let me know how everything goes!
Hello, I got the same problem aswell. I tried literally everything there is to try, but it doesn't work still. I even tried to talk to the support but during the chat it just suddenly get ended? Although I could just use a new account I would still prefer to use my current account.
The devices I tested it on are also all Android, in my case Samsung only. I've tried everything from Android 12 to Android 15. My country is Germany and it has also been selected like it should online. I also got no mail whatsoever that my account has been banned or anything similar. So it makes no sense to me too. For that reason I'll just add this to the Problem in hopes of someone actually trying to solve it and not copy and paste a basic reply.
Good luck for everyone guys.

My Question or Issue
i can´t see music on my phone, not even the likelist, a friend told me it may be because of an adblock, but the thing is that i dont own an adblock on my phone, i had a vpn but i unistalled it just to see if it was that but it wasnt, uninstalling, installing again and deleting cache, doesnt even work so im stuck with that.
I have a collage plan that i want to use, but if i buy it and its not fixed idk if i even want it, because i use it mostly on my phone, so i need help.
pretty please.
same problem dude I think Spotify hates us for no reason
It only happens when I log into my account on this phone. It works on the website and it works on my other account on this phone, but no music shows up. At all. Just playlist. I can click on trending and stuff and it's all empty. I'll search a song and it's empty. Literally no music, just playlists. I've updated my device and redownloaded spotify about 50 times or something. I don't know how to fix it
Hi ribezaz,
Did you actually read what I wrote, or did you just copy and paste a generic reply? Everything you mentioned has already been covered in my original post — and not just by me, but by several other users as well. None of your suggestions are relevant or helpful in this case.
There has been no change of region, no travelling abroad, and no VPN usage.
A new account works perfectly, while the old one does not.
The app is freshly installed using your "full reinstall" guide.
The region has not changed since the profile was created years ago.
All of this has already been tried and confirmed, including checking the account settings directly and through backend inspection.
When you say, "If you are a Premium subscriber, I also suggest doing a full reinstall..." — you’re clearly showing you didn’t read a word of what was written.
Please take this seriously. This is a persistent issue affecting many users and deserves more than a copy-paste response.
