My Question or Issue
I’m experiencing the same issue described in the previous topic marked as solved: upon logging in, every playlist is empty, and I can’t play a single song, even though everything works fine in the browser. I’ve tried the proposed fixes (logging out and back in, reinstalling the app, clearing the cache and app data), but none of these steps resolve the problem for me or several other users who have reported the same All playlists are empty . 

 

NO VPN

NOT TRAVELING ABROAD 

MORE DEVICES WITH THE SAME ERROR
REGION IS THE SAME FOR 8 YEARS

NO BAN E-MAIL / NOTIFICATION

APP INSTALLED FROM THE OFFICIAL GOOGLE STORE

NO 3rd APP CONNECTED

New account works fine, only "old one" not working since version 9.0.48.xxx official and also beta, current version 9.0.54.509 problem persists. 

 

UPDATE (20/6/2025) version 9.0.54.518

The original account works, but the new account stopped working.

Thanks for all the info provided. 

 

So far, we've received many reports but also noticed that the issue usually gets resolved when using the latest version from the Google Play store, so make sure to do that.

 

Beyond that, since some of you like @JohnyBeeGood mentioned that it doesn't work on your old accounts but works on a new one, check on your account pages for any third party apps that may be interfacing with the account and may be causing this. At the end of the day, if the new account has no issues, you can transfer your content as shown here and just keep using the new one instead.

So I have reinstalled the app many times but every time it says no song available

I'm in exactly the same situation.

my only hope now is the next update. Maybe the problem gets fixed then .

its crazy that your solution is to delete our account. While we will have our liked songs and playlist the "music taste" that spotify will give to us by daily mix for example wont be what each of us had in our old account. 

En mi cuenta, desaparecieron toda mi playlist de favoritos, cada que quiero buscar una canción sea cuál sea no aparece nada y en el inicio si le doy a una playlist que aparece de sugeridos, no sale ninguna canción, ya intenté desinstalando la app y volverla a instalar pero nada

The Play Store is already updated and doesn't solve the problem.

I hope you don’t mind me replying in English. Can you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps? It’s more thorough than a simple reinstall. 

 

If you’re still having trouble, you may be affected by an Ongoing Issue that Spotify is investigating at the moment, and you can check it out and add your vote here to show that you're also experiencing this issue. Additionally, make sure to follow the steps under the "Status Update" section.

Hey. I recently noticed my spotify Playlists being empty and I cant play music. Noteably, the PC Client and Web Player still work as expected. Also, I observed this while being on Holydays for a couple of days in another country, though the effect is still holding on. I also know that the empty playlists thing can happen if you use modified clients, however, I have never used such.

Can you try having a clean reinstall of the Spotify app? I'd also recommend you make sure to download Spotify from the official source for your device (App Store, Google Play...).

While I have already done this multiple times, I now tried once more and again, it did not change this behaviour. P.S. I have always installed Spotify from the official source, Google Play.

Same. I have also been going through this problem as well. The country settings are right and even a clean reset and a reinstall does not fix the problem. This has been happening for about 4 days for me, despite spitify working on other devices.

It's possible that your issue is related to a mismatch between the country registered on your account and the one you're currently located in. I'd recommend updating your country info by following the steps mentioned in this article, and double checking that it matches the country you're currently in. I'd also recommend you make sure to disable any VPN services you may be using.

My Issue is

"My Spotify account is not working on the mobile app. No songs are showing on this account. This issue is only happening with this specific account—it works fine on the web browser and desktop, but not on the mobile app, and it doesn’t work on other phones either. Other Spotify accounts are working properly on my phone, but this one specific account is not working at all."

That's the issue I am having as well

I even contacted the support and told them to log out from any other devices and I changed the password even the LOGIN email and it still the same 

Nothing works I've never changed country & never used vpn @Jose_M

Count me in, been fighting with this for a week. 

New update today and nothing changed. Out of 3 accounts, only 1 works.
