Android App Settings Greyed Out

Hello,

 

Spotify mobile app on android desyncronizes my offline tracks every time my phone's battery dies. This by itself is a big problem but one I have dealt with so far by uninstalling/reinstalling.

 

However, after the last time this happened I have now reinstalled and cannot access any of my premium settings; all of the music quality options, for example, are greyed out. 

 

I have already done the standard steps you suggest for every problem so please do not suggest I clear cache/reinstall/log out + back in as I have already done this.

If you are playing music using connect, a lot of settings are greyed out as they're not relevant. Switch playback to the device and they'll all be available again. If you're using android 6+, check that spotify has permission to access the SD card. This might solve the other issue.

Seemed to sort itself after some time. Cheers for response anyway!
