App crash logging in as user #1, but works when logged in as user #2

Hey,

I have a wierd problem that started when I played around with Google Assistant today. All of a sudden Spotify will not start; or it starts but is immediately shut down when logged in as my user (#1)

I tried all the reccomended recovery reccomendations:

- Cleared cache and data

- Uninstalled app

- Factory reset of the phone

And a few more:

- Reverting back to different versions from early Dec 2017

- Formattinng SD card

- Unlinked Google Home from Spotify account

- Cleared offline files (from web page)

I got spotify running on the phone again, BUT only with a different account (#2). I really need to original account since it is the owner of the familiy account (and has my playlists).

In fact, the original spotify version that came with the phone (after factory reset) works.

Take note that this account (#1) still works on my iPad and on the PC; it is only on the android account it does not work. I suspect wierdness with connection to Google Assistant. For some reasone; someone else kills spotify on this device.

I'm now stuck; anyone experienced the same? Are there any (other) ways to de-link from Google than unlink in Google Home app?

BR, Marcus

Without explanation, it works again.

No upgrade of Spotify app; same as when the issue was there.

Main change: I installed a Google Home Mini, and atfer it was installed and coult play Spotify on my cromecast audio - spotify android client works again.

Wierd.
