App doesn't show up on mobile when music is playing

Hi,

Spotify app used to show on my Android when music is played, allowing me to skip songs without unlocking my phone, but now it doesn't do that anymore. I have to key in my password every time to be able to skip or find out what song it's playing. How do I fix this?

perhaps its because you have a Passcode, have you tried turning off the passcode and seeing if it still does that?

You mean to unlock my screen? If so I have had it all this time and it was
no problem for the app to show up and allow me to interact with Spotify.
This just recently happened with no change in my passcode, so I don't think
it was that. But if you meant something else please let me know and I will
try that instead.
