Auto play with sat nav

My Question or Issue

 Whenever I use either Google Sat Nav or TomTom sat nav. Spotify automaticaly kicks in and starts playing. I do not want this to happen. There was no option within the menu on Spotify about playing whilst using a sat nave, (Waze was turned off). I even disabled everything from within the phone. It still automatically played. This is very annoying.

I ride a motorbike. So I use a bluetooth earpice to hear the directions from the sat nav from my phone. The last thing I want is music playing. Is there a way of stopping this from happening? As I use the sat nav quite frequently.

Just to confirm, is this being triggered by you pressing a command on the sat nav, or is happening completely independently of that?

Could you try turning off the Waze integration in your Spotify settings (you should find this within the app itself)? If this doesn't work, would you mind trying to temporarily remove Waze access to Spotify by going here and seeing if the issue persists?
