My Question or Issue

A few days ago, AutoPlay stopped working.  I now have to manually navigate the menu to start song radio to get it to continue past the one song I have started.  Same behavior if I am using Android Phone player, or Android Auto player.  I typically use Google Assistant to play songs, and it now longer AutoPlays after the song I request....I have to go into menu on car screen and click the radio icon...which then restarts the sond but creates the list from there.

Hey there @Cjsag94

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Just to confirm, have you checked if the Autoplay feature is turned on in the app settings? Also, we'd like to know if this only happens when you use Google Assistant or when you manually select the song from Search as well.

On another note, would you mind letting us know if this happens across devices or only on your phone?

If this only happens on your phone, we suggest that you try performing a clean reinstall of the app by following these steps.

Let us know how it goes.

Yes, autoplay is on.  It also doesn't continue after it plays the 20 songs after starting a song to station.  It happens whether I launch it with voice controls using Google Assistant or if I just search for a song in the app and hit play. I have tried all of the clear cache, uninstall, reinstall, all of those basic trouble shooting steps already and nothing helps.

Thanks for getting back to us @Cjsag94

It sounds like you've tried a couple of things already, but let's try some more troubleshooting.

Could you ask a friend or a family member to log in to their personal account using your device to see if they can replicate this?

We can also recommend that you check the phone's battery settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception if you're using the battery optimization option.

Lastly, if you haven't tried yet, could you try with a different Wi-Fi network to see if it makes any difference? In case you don't have another network available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to try it.

Keep us in the loop here.
