Autoplay not working, android pie.

My Question or Issue: 

Autoplay works at random, and most of the time doesn't work at all. 

After the song I searched for is over, it just stops the music and not playing similar songs. 

Pressing the next song in the middle just stops the current song. 

Doesn't work on playlists either. 

Autoplay is on, I tried turning it off and then on. 

Edit: now the autoplay does work but why it's happening in the first place?
