Awful audio via bluetooth

Awful audio via bluetooth

Hello,

i had an iPhone 5S and used to play songs via spotify in my vw bluetooth radio and the sound were very good.

Yesterday, i changed my phone for a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge running Android 5.0.1 and now, playing in the same bluetooth radio, the songs have a very bad audio. Even if I try to equalize the songs via the equalizer, they're simply distorted.

Any tips that i can change this? I'm adapting on androind, since it's my first android phone. Have I made something wrong?

PS: I'm a premium user, and downloaded the songs in the extreme quality.

Thanks for any further help.

Hello & welcome to the Community!

If you totally turn off the equalizer, the sound still sounds bad?

Also a clean reinstallation might help.

To perform a clean reinstallation follow these steps:

  1. From the home screen, tap Settings > Apps.
  2. Find Spotify in your list of apps.
  3. If you're able to, tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  4. Tap Uninstall to remove the app.
  5. Turn your device off and then back on.
  6. Open Google Play then search for and install the Spotify Music app.

Keep in mind that a clean reinstall will delete all data stored by Spotify, so you will need to sync your offline tracks again.

Hope this helps! ♫
