Black screen after logging in

Hi, I am currently trying to sign into Spotify so my mother can use the music app on holiday, each time I enter my log in details the screen goes black and reverts to the home screen picture. The phone is a Samsung s5 , I have watched every YouTube channel and red every support forum possible and the same problem occurs. I have reinstalled and rebooted and taken out the SD card and cleared all data via application manager and still the same problem... Can someone please help? Thank you 🙂
