My Question or Issue

When I dislike a song or artist, that song is still autoplaying in Discover Weekly.

Scenario:

I have following songs in Discover Weekly

  1. Song 1 [Currently playing]
  2. Song 2 [Disliked]
  3. Song 3

When Song 1 ends, I expect the next song to be Song 3. Instead, the Song 2 begins to play.

I have download slider set to [Download]

Hey @sztrzask, welcome to the Community!

That's strange. Do you have the issue on a different device?

Does logging out and back in make a difference? If not, try a clean reinstall to see if it helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Clean reinstall didn't help. My friend says its the same on his device -
also android, also only in Discover Weekly playlist. All other are working
fine, except Discover Weekly (he also have Download slider set On on
Discover Weekly playlist)

Hey @sztrzask.

Just to confirm, is your Spotify app in Offline Mode when this happens? If so, try going back online to see if the playlist is updated.

Keep us posted.

No, I'm online.

What do you mean "the playlist is updated."? When I select that I don't
like the song, the song is grayed out in the playlist (but the green
download icon is still visible next to it).

Hey @sztrzask.

This could be happening because you download the playlist before disliking the songs or artists in it.

In this case, I suggest going back online, toggling the Download option off, and back on. This way, the playlist should download without the songs you've disliked, and they won't play anymore.

In the future, It'd be best to modify the playlist first, before downloading it.

All the best.
