[Bug] Last.fm scrobbling cannot be disabled

I use a 3rd party app to scrobble to my last.fm account. This way all my music is scrobbled and not just the music I listen through Spotify.

However, after I disabled the last.fm scrobbling in the Spotify settings I get a notification every time I play a song saying that I filled in the wrong credentials. Checking back into the settings the option of scrobbling is re-enabled again automatically.

It doesn't matter how many times I disable it. It keeps coming back.

Well yeah, obviously a clean install would fix this problem FOR ME. However, it is a bug in the app.

Not only that, I kinda do not want to do a clean install since I have > 20 GB off synced songs.

Having the same issue. Still isn't solve...

This bug still plagues me.

I am having this exact issue and it's driving me nuts. I also would prefer not to have to do a clean install. It 100% is a bug in the app.
