Can I use people list without a facebook account?

To get started with people list, it seems that I have to login with Facebook. I don't have Facebook and I don't want it.. Is there any other solution to use people list without Facebook account?

The reason for asking, is that I have a Sonos music system, and some of my friends would like to send their playlist to my Spotify account to be able to play these list on  my Sonos system.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Your friends should be able to locate your profile by searching for:

spotify:user:<your username> 

inside the desktop client. 

Once they have found you, they can add you as a favourite and send you tracks/playlists as they would normally do with their other Facebook friends.
