Can no longer navigate mid song

After the recent update the now playing screen is completely different.  I can no longer slide around during a song, you can only start over again.  If you are working on a performance piece and need to replay a portion of a song without starting completely over again this is basically impossible now.

Hey, thanks for reaching out.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here. Try to disable bluetooth or disconnect from any device that is connected via bluetooth and see if that helps 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Turning off Bluetooth fixes this but I'm trying to use it with a bluetooth device that does not have any control besides previous and next.  Is there no way to disable this new Bluetooth interface while still using a Bluetooth device?

It is the CarPlay UI.

Try renaming this bluetooth device you are tyring to connect to.

Hmmmm... My device name appears to be hardcoded by the manufacturer.  I guess I'll try and pursue some device hacks for my car stereo?
