Can't login to app (android)

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and ever since I updated the app it won't let me log in. I tried creating a new account and it let me in but I logged and out and tried to log back in and now I having the exact same problem

please try logging in using your username only, instead of your username@email.com and let me know if it helps!

Can you confirm if you are using a Spotify logoin or Facebook? Can you try a clean install by following the steps detailed in the troubleshooting guide linked in my signature?
