Cannot access synced albums/playlist when offline

Cannot access synced albums/playlist when offline

Hi,

When my phone is offline, I can't access any of my synced albums or playlist. This is a real blocker and I hope you can help me.

To be precise I can access the list of albums (and the list of playlists) and when I choose one, the album/playlist view shows up BUT it has a loading spinner and nothing else on it (see attachement). I tried waiting but nothing changes. It's as if Spotify was trying to access network (which does not make sense here).

By offline I mean any of these situations:

- My phone is in plane mode

- My phone is out of reach of any network (when I'm on the subway)

- I'm using the "Offline" option of the application

Everything works again when I get back online and restart the application.

What I can tell is that it's not an issue with the song access: I can, by long clicking an album, add songs to the play queue and they will be played nicely. It's really accessing the album view that I can't do.

What I have tried so far without success:

- Restarting the application

- Re-syncing my albums/playlists

- Reinstalling the application from scratch

I have witnessed this bug on two smartphones (I recently changed):

- a Google Nexus 4 (Android 5.1, don't remember the app version sorry)

- a Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 (with Android 6 and application 6.3.0.882 arm v7)

Other informations:

- I'm not connected through Facebook

- My music is stored on an SD card (but wasn't on my Nexus 4 so I'm not sure it's relevant)

Thanks in advance. I'm overall pretty satisfied with your service, I really would like to keep Spotify.
