When I go to sync playlists to my Galaxy S3 on my computer, the little checkbox unchecks a half second after i click it, and my phone says "must be a premium subscriber to download music." This happens to local files in playlists too.
Hi. Are you a premium subscriber? Does it show "Spotify Premium" at the top of your desktop client?

also I apparently can only sync all music. whne i click a chaeckbox, it immediately switches from "manually choose playlists to sync" to "Sync all music to this device."
Using Spotify on a mobile device is only possible with a premium subscription, I'm afraid. This explains in more detail.
obviously. the issue is i cant sync the songs that are local files, as in the files are on my computer, to my phone, which has the spotify app. it has worked in the past. i shouldnt need spotify premium to move MY music.
