My Question or Issue

What was the logic for changing the sorting/filtering mechanism for playlists? Why fix something that isn't broken? The old mechanism worked just fine and much faster. I am angry with this change, because it is now a hassle to look through playlists. I have to click the three dots, scroll and look for sort playlist, choose sorting category, then repeat the process to re-sort the songs when changing between ascending and descending order. Playlists are useless to me right now because of this change. It's much easier to type and search for a song that I want to listen to, rather than using the new multi-process sort/filter mechanism. Not happy...

I agree, it's a baffling change really. The menu is already quite busy, why put more stuff into it when there was already an elegant way to filter/sort one's playlists?!

Exactly! They better revert this change ASAP

What is even worse is that BEFORE I could filter my playlist by album, artist, song, etc. In that little filter, I could shuffle just those songs...

Now when you filter a playlist, the shuffle does not shuffle my filtered list. It shuffles the whole playlist. I have a HUGE playlist (basically a library) and sometimes I want to hear only one artist. SPOTIFY...PLEASE REVERT BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS

I completely agree the new system is terrible
