Constantly having two Spotify pop-ups in notification bar

My Question or Issue

Recently Spotify is constantly showing two pop-ups when I pull the notification bar down, one the regular music player with the buttons and title info, and the other just a blank white box saying "Spotify"

Could you log out and back in to your Spotify app?

If that doesn't help with the empty notification, I'd recommend performing clean reinstall of your Spotify app. It's different than regular reinstallation.
Just find your device in this article and follow the steps provided there.
