Cracking sound in Spotify after call

Hi,
Running latest of Spotify and Android 6.x on Moto X Play. All of a sudden Spotify cannot resume playing if interrupted by a call (both in- and outbound). Only sound heard is a loud cracking/crackling noise. Nothing can get real sound back again from Spotify unless phone is restarted.
Spotify has been removed completely - no change. Anyone got any good ideas?

I ahve the same problem here with my Moto X Play!!!

Have you had any answer from motorola? They told me that it's a Spotify problem.

The Spotify team tryed a sort of methods to sove the problem, but it's still there.

They canceled my account and created a new one, but it didn't work.

Do you have any problem with other app??? (Google Play Music, Apple Music, Deezer?)

I have the same problem. December 2021.
After calling with my headset, I get a chopped sound from Sportify App.
I am running Andriod 11 on a Moto Vision One.
