Double click to skip track doesn't work on USB-C adapter/headphones

My Question or Issue

 When I double click the headphone button, it pauses and resumes the music very fast, instead of skip to the next track. All the regular clear cache/reboot/uninstall/etc I've already done. We can easily find more reports of the exact same problem if we google it and even here in the community forum.

Could you give us some more info about what is going on?

• We'd like to know which button exactly you are pressing
• Since when the behaviour stopped working
• Your Spotify version

If it's the play button which is built into the cable on your headphones, could you let us know which headphones you are using and if it has worked in the past? We'd also like to know if you could try different headphones to see if you can recreate the issue.

If you've already found a topic regarding this issue, we recommend you also drop a post there as it's easier for us to fix an issue if we have more than one example.
