Downloading local files to phone.

I recently switch to android so i copied my itunes music over to spotify. I got all my playlists finally figured out, but to save on data usage, i want to download all the songs to my phones storage. I hit download on the playlists but it only downloads some song, why isnt it downloading all of them so i can listen offline. On the phone they are greyed out but i can play them just fine in the playlist on PC.

you need to connect your phone to your wifi network at home where youre desktop spotify is connected, and your phone will download the song

And that will allow me to play the music while driving without using my data?
