Ford sync problem

Can anyone tell me how to fix Spotify playing through sync in my transit custom, basically it was working fine until lately, sync finds the app no problem but when I click on it to start it doesn't! Ive tried master reset, I've also pulled the fuse to reset sync but no joy, phone and texts still work just not Spotify! Doing my head in having to listen to rubbish radio stations!!

Are you connecting through bluetooth or USB?

It's an ongoing problem with spotify...been like this for quite a while now. Spotify had an update and since then it's been pretty much useless. There's lots of us Ford drivers with the same problem but there doesn't seem to be much of a response from spotify other than its under investigation.
