Galaxy Note can't use SD storage

Hi All,

I can't use my sd card as storage for spotify.

I resset all my phone,  install the application (with more place on the sd card than usb storage)... No way...

With the new update at the first start you can't specifiate the place that you want to use as storage.

Can you help me?

I thought that this problem would be fixed before official update!

I can't use Spotify Mobile before i can't set the storage path!!

It's a "feature" not a "bug" I'm guessing... same as removing Screen Rotation
and now telling they are implementing "native landscape" mode "somewhere in the future" without a date.

/me is a Galaxy Note user also.

I'm searching for the previous version of the app (before the update) and see if I can get the APK package somewhere safe.

PS. there are other users also who are stating the problem. Not only a Galaxy Note issue.

Try that one out. Get a older one and then change it -> Update to the new version.

PS. Tell me if you find the version that was released just before this one was (non ICS working one)

I find an old spotify:

I reset all my phone, delet all file on card and on phone usb.

install the old apk.

Add the sd card adresse at the start of the application spotify with this adresse: /mnt/sdcard/external_SD

No way! It's doesn't work! No alert message and the data goes directly to the memory of the phone!

Is any one have an idea'???

DId you update the app through Play Store after installing the old version and then setting the path?

Then update it via Google Play Store = Cache still is where it needs to be, but your running the new version.

New version still doesn't have screen rotation, old version does.

First part worked for me intstalling the older version from https://www.dropbox.com/s/u9bwd3qqx2x286h/SpotifyAndroid.apk Access again to songs on the SD card on Galaxy Note. Second part, Are you suggesting to update again thruh Play Store to latest version? That one did not see the SD card?

Yes. The new version doesn't include the option to set the location but normally 'remembers' the setting from the old version if installed over top
