Have also tried beta version of Spotify

I have the same issue on a Samsung A70 and a Samsung A5.

If you long press the Spotify Icon  you get a menu of 3 of your play lists and a search.

Selecting any of these will open the app and it will not crash unless you go to the home screen!!

So sounds like summit up with the home screen.

Have the same issue since the last Android update with S9 SM-G960F.

Using the latest spotify version.

Hi, same issue with my Samsung Galaxy S9, SM-G960F. After Android upgrade, Spotify is not starting. I have done all tips and trics from Spotify support, no help.
What might be the issue?

Same, Exynos 9810 Samsung S9 (SM-G960F).

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Don't worry, Help is here 🙂

We'd suggest you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. That way you can make sure the app is up-to-date and the cache is not causing this issue.

It's also a good idea to check if any battery optimization or power saving apps are activated for Spotify. If so, you can deactivate them for the app.

@Trixarn1 You can try opening the app on another device. Does the issue persist?

Let us know how it goes. If you have questions, you know where to find us.
