Google assistant won’t play music.

I recently purchased an Anker Roav Bolt which is a device that interfaces between the google assistant app on your phone and your cars Bluetooth. It’s like a google home for your car.

I have Spotify set as my default music source under google assistant settings. And when I ask my google home at my house to play music, ie; “Ok google play, artist” it automatically starts playing a song from that artist on Spotify. But with the new device it doesn’t work, it just says, “I can’t play songs from Spotify yet.” I don’t get it cause at home I’ve never had this problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Me too. This feature worked earlier, but not now. Saying "Hey Google, play xxx on Spotify", Spotify opens, a search is performed but don't start playing music. This is a suck, because I had no problem on the same phone, same OS, same profile.

Spotify updates increase bugs instead of buf fixes. 😞

I am a premium user for a long time, so please Spotify fix it as soon as possible! Thanks!
