My Question or Issue
I am logged in to my account on two devices (obviously I don't use them both at the same time).
Recently (since the last update?) One of my devices now shows all the Google Home speakers in the WiFi network, but it can't connect to them. It just tells me "Can't play this right now" next to the device name.
They work with other apps and my other device is still fine.

First up, let's try a quick clean reinstallation of the app by following these steps. This usually helps with many ongoing issues like this.
Note: Any offline playlists will need to be redownloaded after reinstalling.
It started working again for a time but now it isn't again.
Reinstalling had no effect.
Could you check if all of the devices that you're trying to stream to are updated to the latest firmware?
If all of your devices are rocking the latest firmware, could you try to stream from a different device with your account, and if that doesn't work, try another person's account, to see if that happens there too?

Yes all devices are using the must up to date version.
Here's a strange thing - if I go to playlists, that works. But if I just go straight to a song or podcast, I can listen to it on my phone but not on a speaker or on my smart TV etc.
Unfortunately, streaming podcasts through Spotify Connect is not supported for all devices yet.

Go to Google Home app and try to unlink your Spots account and link it again.
