Group a spotify connect device with a chromecast

Hey,

I have two devices I want to group together:

-Home Audio Receiver with Spotify connect built in

-Portable speaker with chromecast audio connected to it

I have them both available in the Spotify app, but since the receiver doesn't have chromecast I can't create a group for them in the Google home app. Is there a way to create groups within the Spotify app (Android)? Or alternatively, is there another app which can do this?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. We'll be glad to help.

Group casting is only possible if all of your devices have Chromecast. This is why you can't add your receiver. 

As far as I know, there aren't any 3rd party apps to accomplish this either. For now, you'll only be able to listen on one of these devices at a time.
