I wanted to sync some playlists to my phone, but it told me that I've got no memory left. I checked the weight of Spotify, it was almost 2GB, no playlists synced [I've cancelled/"deleted" them all, but aparently they were still in the memory, although I couldn't see them in Spotify].
After uninstalling and installing Spotify again, everything worked, but i really don't want to do this every time i reach memory limit.
My phone is huawei u8815, Android 4.0.3
Hi. Space in the cache isn't freed up when you delete playlists, as you found out. Not sure if this is by design (keep stuff in case you change your mind) or oversight but you can delete the cache and saved data from the app settings.
Try Settings--->Apps---> and then find Spotify and click "Clear Data" and "Clear Cache".
Hope this helps 🙂

Hope this helps 🙂
