How to Stop Controls on Lock Screen?

Hi

I'm using Spotify on Galaxy Note8, and even if Spotify is closed completely, the Play controls keep appearing on the devise lock screen.

Several times I have selected "play" when placing the phone in my bag/pocket.

How can I prevent the controls on the lock screen?

Thanks

I'm seriously surprised no one did the research for this.

1. Go to settings on the Note 8

2. Search for Face widgets

3. Turn off the Music Controller option.

Now you won't have Spotify on your lock screen.

On my Samsung S7 (similar to your Galaxy):

Go to settings (for phone not Spotify)

Go to notifications

Go to advanced

Find Spotify, tap into it.

Find the setting "On lock screen"

Select "Hide content"

Hi

Thanks for the reply, but I already have all notifications blocked as you suggested.

The issue seems to be related to the Official Clear Cover because if I remove the phone from the cover and refit, the Spotify keys dissappear.

Any other suggestions?

Sorry no other useful suggestions....

I had the irritating lock screen problem and eventually solved it by turning off notifications.

It would be unlikely that a piece of plastic on the back of the phone could affect the software, however, when I pull off or put on a cover it always hits buttons on the way. Perhaps your cover touches a volume button when being removed or attached and that triggers something.

That is a bit of stretch but all I could think of.

Good luck with it.
