I'm getting sick and tired of this. Offline files location.

I have a ricomagic hooked up to my telly which I mostly use for spotify.

When I first installed it a couple of months ago I could only download to the internal memory (2gb)

So to work around this, I swapped the external sd and internal memory. Voila, 32gb of storage for the music.

Now I power on the device today and see that it has deleted all the music and when redownloading it puts on the external (2gb) ....................

WHY DOES IT DO THIS WHEN THE INTERNAL HAS 29gb available?

Is that just the way it is? if it detects an external sd it will always put it there or what?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

According to the release notes the latest android application will select the most efficient location, which I would guess is the one with the most space. Maybe something is being reported incorrectly somewhere so it is detecting the wrong storage location?
