Like button on notification banner is broken

Hi Spotify,

I've been having a problem with the like button on notification panel for couple of weeks now.

The like button on the notification banner just isn't working anymore. In order to like a song I have to open the app itself.

Everything else on the banner is working fine (play/pause,  Fwd/Back, open app, etc.), only the like button is inactive.

I suspect it started after the latest firmware update of my phone, but I don't know the exact time it started.

Checked all the related notification settings, nothing changed there and everything is allowed. Tried restarting the phone - no help.

Using Samsung Galaxy S9, Android 9, Android security patch 1st Aug 2019.

Premium account, app updated to lates version.

Could you try performing clean reinstall of your Spotify app?

I haven't try it myself, but saw many reports from other users in similar threads that it doesn't help.
I've subscribed to the other thread you referred to and will be following it for solution.

like and dislike in notifications do not do anything. play control works fine.
samsung s9, android 9.

pixel 3, fresh spotify install.

sinxe 8 weeks or so.

i bet is in every android version

Still on Android 9, Spotify 8.5.49.973

Hope it will keep working when I upgrade to Android 10
