My Question or Issue

Whenever I am connected to a Bluetooth device the play/pause controls on my lockscreen do not work and only appear to briefly skip the track (it stutters and moves forward a second or so).

I have seen numerous posts about this all marked as fixed/solved but having tried ALL the options and "fixes", the issue still persists.

I have tried the following:

- Updated to the latest version of Spotify app (8.5.27.957)

- logged out and in

- Cleared cache and data

- Uninstalled as reinstalled (worked for a day then the issue returned)

- Uninstalled Android wear (this was causing other users the same issue, didn't work for me)

- soft and hard reboot

- same issue across multiple Bluetooth devices, including car Bluetooth

I don't know what else to do, there seems to be no more options so it must be a bug in the app but this seems to have been going on for at least 6 months and still no fix!!

Thanks.
