Mixed download qualities, is it possible?

Is it somehow possible to get different qualities on different offline playlists by changing the quality setting between making them into offline playlists (and actually downloading the files)?

Or will the Spotify app go back and change the quality of already dowloaded playlists, i.e. downloading them again, when I change the quality setting for offline lists?

I very much doubt you will get an official answer on this. If you set the offline mod on then spotify wont download new data though so it might be possible though.
