Moto X Pure only has a 3x1 widget

Today I received my moto x pure and when I added the play back widget and saw there is only a 3x1 version. My 2014 has a 4x1 which I thought was odd. Anyone else seeing this?

4 x 1 for me on the HTC M9 and using nova launcher. I wonder if the issue is more to do with the launcher not allowing 4 blocks horizontal, try installing nova and see if you can add the 4 x 1 widget.

Nova launcher does allow for a 4x1 widget on the motox pure for Spotify. With other apps and the default launcher I am able to put on 4x1 widgets down.

I've just tried using Sense and also Google Now Launcher and they are both also showing 4 x 1. I can only assume it's something to do with the way your launcher is identifying itself to the Spotify app. Maybe try the xda forums and seeing if someone else with your device can verify?

I have not yet though I gave up for now. It seems other launchers do not
have this issue. But it also seems to be just Spotify that is limiting it
to 3x1
