Music goes silent mid song

I have recently updated my account to family account. So i have created a user for my other half and linked it to my account. For some reason when he is logged in as me spotify works perfectly fine, when hes logged in as himself the music just goes silent mid song every few songs.. we have deleted his app and re added it and no change. Why would it do this on the same phone but on a different user? Any help please

So that we can define with certainty that this is some sort of an account-related issue, could he log into his account on your device?
We'd like to know if the issue persists there as well.
