Music interrupted by notification/ring

       Listening to music on Spotify on my Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android 4.1.1, the music is always being interrupted by the notification sounds, like when I get a text. I cannot find the a setting that will stop this from happening, apart from getting rid of all notification and ringer sounds altogether, which I obviously do not want to do. Has anyone found a solution to this?

Ok so I found the solution! After turning off eq’s and sound checks and on my iPhone 7, and nearly getting in a wreck trying to figure out here it is:

go to the settings in your Spotify app > notifications > and uncheck all the push notifications

Just listened to my music ducking free over Bluetooth in my car for 10 minutes 🙂

Same, knowing this, I would buy iPnone again, **bleep** the fancy Android.

My Question or Issue

While I am listening to music, the volume keeps dipping for a couple of seconds when I receive a notification.  It's absolutely infuriating.  I contacted Android support who said this was Spotify that was doing this.

Please help me make it stop doing this!
