Music not playing after I canceled premium account

Music not playing after I canceled premium account

So I canceled my premium account a week or two ago. Ever since then it doesn't even let me play any of the music I had such as Playlist I had subscribed to. I click a song and it just stays grey and doesn't do anything. I tried turning off altogether of features in the settings. Even cleared data and cache with no luck.

Free users can only play music by using the Shuffle button. You can't start playing by tapping a specific song and should get a message telling you this is a premium feature. I'm confused about greyed-out songs. Are you trying yo use the app in offline mode by any chance? That too is a premiu feature.

I just canceled my premium account and when I open the Spotify app it says to update payment or cancel. Well I canceled and its not letting me use the app to listen to music

Did you actually cancel your premium or just stop the payments?
