Music stutters when phone goes into standby (blackscreen)

Hey,

just recently bought spotify and it is an awesome service.

I do have an issue with the mobile app on my HTC Desire running 2.3.3.

When the phone goes into standby mode and turns the screen off, the music starts to stutter after a few minutes of playback.

The stuttering starts with maybe a ten second pause, then thirty seconds of music playback.

If I don't do anything the pauses will increase in frequency to a point where its a ten second pause, ten seconds of music playback.

If I activate the phone it completely removes the issue and if I keep the phone active the stutter never occurs.

Actually, switching "WiFi Optimisation" to ON did the trick for me having the exact same problems. So a good advise would probably be to try working with those settings and see what works. (HTC Desire X, Android 4.1.1)
