Solved!

My songs are re-downloading everytime I open the Starred folder.

Kindle Fire first gen. Title says it all. Tried re-downloading Spotify to no avail. Anybody know anything else or able to point me in the right direction. Will be getting any updates for the Amazon store? Also having the problem where no albums are being saved on my Fire, but are being saved on wife's 2nd gen Fire... What gives?

I did a full Fire reset and it seems to have fixed the problem for now.

Hey there!

Thank you for nice question!

Can you please check, do oyu have this problem only with some playlists or with all? If with some, can you share link if Community can reproduce it or not?

Also try clean re-install of Android Spotify app and see if that works for you.

Please let me know if there any problems or good things coming soon!

It is just the Starred ones that keep re-downloading. The bulk of my starred playlist is staying downloaded, but lately if I try to add to the playlist the new songs will not be on there when I am offline. I can download an album playlist and it may stay there a little while, but it always reverts back to where it shows I haven't downloaded it. I will try a clean reinstall and see what happens.

Hey 🙂

I am not big on Kindle devices, but I am guessing they are Android?

If so, it sounds like you are experiencing a bug which is reported and outlined in this topic.
