Hello, I use a mini bluetooth gamepad attached to the steering wheel of my car to control some phone features while driving without having to use the touchscreen and thus avoiding paying too much attention to the phone.
Navigating through Spotify lists, exploring new music, etc was good enough until version 5. You moved the arrows on the pad and you could see a highlighted element on the screen and you could move through lists and so on. Even the burger menu was enabled to work like that (although you couldn't see the options highlighted as you moved).
Since version 5.0.0.956 this stopped working in some points. For example I can move in the my music menu, but once I choose "play lists" it stops behaving like that, the play lists are not highlighted when you move the pad up or down and if you press the pad button nothing happens. Also inside a play list it stopped working with the pad 😞
It would be great that this worked again as this accessibility method is very useful when driving and allows much more than Google now commands. Also, if the burger main menu could have the options highlighted as you move it would be perfect.

My system is Galaxy S4 with Android 5.0.1.
The pad is a standard bluetooth remote, I can move almost everywhere on my phone with it, but now not on some Spotify fragments.
