My Question or Issue

Hi @TSGblue, welcome to our Spotify Community!

We can help you out in English over here. The best option is to reinstall the app by following the steps at https://support.spotify.com/article/reinstallation-of-spotify/. Also, we'd recommend trying with a different SD card.

If you want to get Spanish support, you can go here https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/.

Have a nice day 🙂

Hi Aimee_T.

I have the problem with other SD card too.

I can't uninstall completely the app because in Sony Xperia XZ Spotify is
factory default installed and it can't be removed.

Other apps don't have any problem to get access to SD card, Quickpic for
example ask for rights to the SD card, you allow this, select the correct
SD card path and then everything works OK.

This problem is particular for Sony Xperia XZ and Spotify.

Thanks.

Hi @TSGblue, welcome to the Spotify Community!

Can you let us know what operating system and Spotify version you're using? Also, we'd recommend using a different SD card to see how it goes.

Take care 🙂

Hey @TSGblue.

Sorry for the confusion there.

Thanks for letting us know it didn't work with a different SD card either.

We'll continue to see how we can lend a hand, don't worry!

The SD cards should be formatted as Portable. Can you double-check for us that the SD Cards you've tried are not formatted as Internal memory? If it's formatted as Internal memory / Adoptable Storage this could possibly be causing the SD card to fail.

Are you also happy to try re-formatting the SD card again?
In the meantime, we'd recommend updating your firmware to the most recent version available.

Keep us posted,

/M
