Not Showing on Notification Bar

My Question or Issue

 I'm not getting the Spotify icon on the notification bar while playing music. I've tried turning on notifications for the app through settings as well as check to ensure the app was not blocked in the notification bar settings. I've also tried giving Spotify permissions to everything, but still no luck. Finally I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I still do not get notifications. Please help!

Mine also not showing the player in expanded notification bar, until I kill the app manually then reopen Spotify. After I do that, the player comes back on notification bar.
