Not Sticking to Playlist

Hi,

Recently when I'm listening on my phone it doesn't stick to my playlist and it goes off and plays random songs, usually in the same genre, but it's still annoying.

I've done a quick search and the only thing I found about the same problem was from 2 years ago and all it suggested was to reinstall the app, which I've already tried.

Is there anything else I can do?  Surely Spotify wouldn't have left a glitch like this for 2 years without fixing it?

Hi.

If you are a Premium subscriber, try turning off autoplay.

If you're a free user, hearing similar music is expected.

I was having a similar issue and figured I’d post it here.

I found out I had put stuff in my queue and Spotify was playing them after the first song in a playlist instead of playing the playlist.

solution: clear playlist
