Offline Sync: With Samsung Galaxy S2

I've been trying sync local tracks from  my Mac to my  Droid but  I cannot even get my phone to show in the spotify app when syncing over the local Wi-Fi network.

 I currently live on campus at college and I've had the same problems when living back home on my local residential Wi-Fi. About 50% of the time it would show up in the other half  of the time the songs don't show up. 

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
