Opt out of suggested songs

I was studying for a test and listening to calming piano music on spotify mobile app. I love spotify. But after a few songs katy perry starts playing because spotify suggests a song. This happens several times till I have no more skips. I just stopped listening altogether because of the suggested songs.

Heres an idea. Give us an option to opt out. Or better yet, suggest songs that are somewhat related to the same genre that I am listening to. If im listening to Chopin then a good suggested song option would be Bach or Beethoven, not katy perry.

I agree that suggested songs should be relevant to the current genre. However in regards to opting out, you can do so by subscribing to the service. The artists and providers can't give you music for free, in order to get something they need to advertise or promote whilst you are streaming.
