Hi, This may be obvious but not to me! I can get my local MP3's on Spotify easily enough on my laptop but how do I do it on my phone? I can see the tracks names on the phone but, obviously, they're "not available". Thanks!
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you open a playlist on your phone, do you have the "available offline" option at the top? If so, just tap the button, and it will sync the local files.
Alternatively, on the desktop, in the left sidebar, you can go to devices, click the lefthand dropdown arrow, choose your device, and then sync your device to Spotify. You'll see an option at the top to manually choose playlists to sync. Click that, and then choose local files, and it will sync as many local files as you have space for. That said, that could add up quickly if you have a lot of files, so the playlist method would give you more control.
You need to have Spotify open on your phone and computer at the same time, and both devices need to be on the same WiFi network. Then, when you sync a playlist to your phone, it will transfer the local tracks to it over WiFi. You can't import local files on the phone directly into the app.
Thanks I have them both open now how do I sync them?

That did it, thanks!
