Playlist on USB

Playlist on USB

Hello and sorry about my bad english.

I have some question:

I have an Spotify Premium Account on my Sony Z3+ with an 128 GB SD Card. Im using it to stream the musik via bluetooth in a bluetooth dongle.

Now i want to install a Nexus 7 in my car. The device has only 16 or 32 GB Storage and i want to use an USB Stick via OTG on the Nexus.

It´s possible to storage the playlists on this USB stick?

Another question is, when i make some offline playlists on my Sony, can i sync it with the same account on my Nexus?

Hello there!

Just to clarify: Have you tried logging into Spotify on your new device or are you unable to download the app at all?

As far as offline playlists - they should be synced across devices!

Spotify does not support OTG storage except for the iPod touch (if memory serves me correct). Your cache must remain on either the phone or SD storage medium.

As for syncing your offline playlists. Your playlists will be available on each device logged in against your account - however you must toggle the offline switch on each device independently for it to start the downloading process.

Hope this clarifies
