 I have been collecting Spotify versions to the archive since
 many times when a new version has been released, it might have
 been buggy or such.

 * 0.4.0.4 - Oldest version I have found

 * 0.4.12.153 - version that has
                * Landscape (when Docked)
                * SD card option
                * Bugs, that the Play button messes up the GUI

 * 0.4.12.180 - version that has
                * Landscape (when Docked)
                * SD card option
                * Works more stable than the 153 version
                * Doesn't have the Play button bug

 * 0.5.0.972 - version that is
               * This is the Preview version (one of them)

 * 0.5.0.1247 - version that is
                * Have no clue

 * 0.5.2.87 - version that is
		* Previous version

 * 0.5.3.56 - version that is
                * Previous version

 * 0.5.4.73 - version that is
                * Current version

From the older versions 0.4.12.180 seems to be the most stable version

with the support for SD card storage + Landscape mode when in Car Dock

Done, once again. Now, how do I show it all the previously DL'd tracks on my EXT_SD card? Using a HTC ReZound

You would need to set the path -> then sync the content to my knowledge - hence removing the previously synced content and then set the path and resync the content.

It worked for me. All my playlist are donwnloaded to my external-sd.

I used the old 0.4.12.180 version.

Your most welcome. The .180 version is the best version of the older ones. It has even the landscape feature if you put your device to a dock. This was removed in the recoded version.

Hmmm... I'v downloaded the right version to the right location. I'v synced the folders etc.I just redownloaded the .73 version to the archive.

Hi again,

I installed 0.4.12.180 version, I configured it to move tracks on my EXT_SD card and upgraded it to 0.5.4.73 from Google Play.
All goes well till the data exceeds 15GB when the sync errors appeared.

"Syncing error" --> "Unknonw error" -> "Continue"

I can listen the downloaded music but I can't download anymore.
I uninstalled and installed twice but the errors always appears over 15GB of data.

Any help would be appreciate.

Im having problems with my Samsung Galaxy Stellar. So, basically i downloaded the older version and set the files to go to my ext sd storage on the log in page, but the problem is, my internal and sd storage are still high up and my microsd card hasnt changed. Did i do anything wrong? When i check there, all i see are files, not music. Im still a noob on the android, so any help would be fine. Yeah and when i try to download music, the storage i have left in my internal or sd(i have no idea) is going  up from 8 mb to 337 mb, so i dont think the music is going to my ext sd(microsd) card. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I think i got it covered now.. before i did mnt/microSdCard/SpotifyMusic!! and now its just mnt/microSdCard. I dont think you have to make a new folder. But since now all that crap is figured out, how do i still have 337 MB OF STORAGE TAKE UP ON MY SD/internal storage????? :0 I tryed to do the reset thing on spotify where it deleted cached files, but it didnt work. Was i supposed to delete my cached files on the new version before i replaced it with the older version?? thanks! 😄

LOL Im making way too many replies to myself. XD But a question, so after downloading everything, which update am i supposed to get for spotify next since i changed the pathway. And also, i got my last problem fixed too. Just had to clear my database and cached files and click on that button a few times.  Thanks, again!!

There's a pretty good explanation here. I did some fiddling around until I actually found that if you put "/storage/extSdCard" in the path it worked without any glitches.

Damm i had to install my Galaxy again because of the upgrade to 4.1.2 

Now i am installing the old version of spotify again but it is not wrking. I get a notification of the warning of use of MB but I can not click that away?.

Can anybody HELP me..

If you have access to Google Play you should be able to download it from there. 

If not, try directing your mobile browser to m.spotify.com and following the android links to download manually.
