[REQUEST] Previous version of the client (APK)

 I have been collecting Spotify versions to the archive since
 many times when a new version has been released, it might have
 been buggy or such.

 * 0.4.0.4 - Oldest version I have found

 * 0.4.12.153 - version that has
                * Landscape (when Docked)
                * SD card option
                * Bugs, that the Play button messes up the GUI

 * 0.4.12.180 - version that has
                * Landscape (when Docked)
                * SD card option
                * Works more stable than the 153 version
                * Doesn't have the Play button bug

 * 0.5.0.972 - version that is
               * This is the Preview version (one of them)

 * 0.5.0.1247 - version that is
                * Have no clue

 * 0.5.2.87 - version that is
		* Previous version

 * 0.5.3.56 - version that is
                * Previous version

 * 0.5.4.73 - version that is
                * Current version

From the older versions 0.4.12.180 seems to be the most stable version

with the support for SD card storage + Landscape mode when in Car Dock

Whatever version works in android 2.3.6 would be very nice, specifically 0.4.12.180 which OP said it was better.

The last one to work with 2.3 was 1.2.0.534

edit: the only link of those which you posted that didnt 404 crashed on startup on my phone, i found an older version on the internet, 0.5.4.73, here http://spotify.en.uptodown.com/android/download/36291, which worked. Thanks for providing help, through 😆

Are you sure? I cant install it. There is a problem parsing the package error. I once had (about a year ago) spotify installed.

Thanks! I have installed this one successfully on my new Cowon Z2 Plenue (Android 2.3.5 / firmware 4.45).

I tried other versions, but this is the only one that did not have problems with logging in or working in landscape mode.

Many thanks for keeping the previous APKs available, I definitely made use of them!

Can be a matter of trail-and-error before finding a working package for an older or uncommon device. I found that for my Samsung Galaxy Q (SGH-T589R), the latest build I could use was 0.6.5.183, even though it runs Android 2.2.2

Really version 0.6.5.183 is perfect. Version 0.5.4.73 also works, but 0.6.5.183 is better.
